I know feminism is the greatest evil of our time. This presentation is so good, but needs updating. The government today is much worse than 20 years ago.

A person best understands fatherhood by knowing someone who is a good father.

If children have no understanding of what a father is…how can they know and love God, who is also a Father?

This documentary needs updating only because our worse fears for the family have come true. I was once a legal services lawyer, and 95% of what I did was “family law”, which meant that my clients were 95% females: women alone with children, dependent & impoverished, moms & grandmothers. I really appreciate the analysis made in the video about fathers being the weak link in the family as compared to mothers, who are made so by nature. The State, through the courts, social service agencies, and the universities has reduced fatherhood to DNA swabs, and the child support enforcement unit. I’m a black woman who came of age in the civil rights era, and looking at the black family’s desolation today, I see my generation’s handiwork, where “the new morality” became identified as one and the same with the original goals of the Civil Rights movement. Sexuality and marriage decoupled from the primacy of superintending moral constraints and tradition, to be treated by the State as just another aspect of civil liberties associated with the public sphere.

I hope that this documentary can be updated and released on a much wider basis. Even without updating though I believe that there’s a vast audience of ordinary people waiting to be mobilized to action in behalf of fathers and their children through this film. ( By the way I learned of the film in the Feb, 2011 issue of “Chronicles” magazine. )

interesting. sad. men need to choose better wives. wives need to choose better men. many women have no clue, what they are doing to their own children by taking them from dad.
our only hope in the face of this kind of hopelessness is to call upon the Lord Christ for a revival of epic proportions.

Excellent movie. However, I argue against any reference to homosexuality or religion; much of the general public doesn’t want to debate that issue and in fact believes people should live and let live. The family/fatherhood/damaged children message is the message that needs all the focus and attention. Other messages will alienate people who would otherwise be willing to help.

ABlack,

Thank you for your comments. For more information on how homosexuality is a symptom of matriarchal societies, please review Dr. Amneus’ “The Garbage Generation” and “The Case for Father Custody” available for free online at fatherfigurevideo.com=>Literature. Regarding religion, I am unclear what portion of “Father Figure” you are referring to.

A noble effort to be sure. However, it only touches on the prime issue. Persecuting fathers and rewarding mothers is only a proxy for this prime issue of defining (all) females as (politically) preferred and (all) males as (politically) inferior and all this entails. (Current histrionics over breast cancer–the EIGHTH most cancer in women with less mortality than prostate cancer–is a similar anti-male, pro-female proxy.)

What people need to understand as a beginning is that from history, these are the truisms involved:

1) No oppressed population has ever relieved itself of its oppression. Millions of fighting “whites” ended slavery. Pressure from outside South Africa and the Jim Crow South ended these oppressions, etc. As subtly shown here, the only standing is given to the new wifes of oppressed fathers, i.e. women.

2) No movement has ever succeeded without its leadership looking to receive and receiving lavish reward upon success. Take heed of this reality as we are not looking to replace oppression of children denying them fathers with denying them mothers.

Thoughtful and offers a wide perspective, but certain elements (e.g., educational control) have no relevance. Needs a good re-editing and updating of specific information reflecting more recent research. And, should be made available for purchase/download.

If it weren’t for Dave Miller, I wouldn’t have a dad My bogcioilal father split when I was just a baby. I’ve never known him. My mother remarried and this man has been my dad ever since. He has emotionally supported me, morally supported me, and financially supported me. He instilled hard work and ethics in me at a very young age. He also taught me the importance of school. Once I turned 18, I was forced by law to use my bogcioilal father’s last name but he will never be my dad. As I graduate with my first college degree next Friday, I have hyphened my last name on my diploma to show my dad that it was HIM that taught me that hard work and determination will pay off.I remind him every father’s day that it takes a true man to raise another man’s child as his own. And THAT is my favorite memory of my dad.

Thank you for these free downloads. I am very impressed by your work. I believe in fairness and equality under the law for women, but I also strongly believe in patriarchy. I agree that the feminist project of changing patriarchy to matriarchy is unspeakably malignant.

Thanks if you can update this please do. I think things really have not changed and the laws are still anti-father.
